Current News

The NBA All-Star game doesn't have anything on our Southside Titans Youth All-Stars!!!  To prove it, you will get a chance to see this bold statement with your own eyes!!!  On Tuesday, February 20th, both of our Southside Titans basketball teams will take part in a free paid admission to our eighth annual All-Star basketball extravaganza.  This year’s venue will take place at Woodson Gym.  Address is 3403 South May Avenue.  Before this big event, the kids will first and foremost take part in their annual basketball photo shoot which begins at 7pm at the same location.  This will be your opportunity as parents to purchase pictures for your children at a truly reasonable price.  Afterwards, the Titans coaches, secretaries and other staff members will take their photos.  Our final photo shoot will involve the entire Southside Titans basketball family which will be one of the best basketball pictures ever.  After the last photo shoot, we will go straight to the main attraction...THE ALL STAR GAME!!! This evenly matched game will involve Pre-K children as young as four years of age up to 4th graders.  There will be a unique 5 on 5 matchup with one player from each team from the various grade divisions.  What makes this game so special is that every age group involved on the court will learn the importance of bonding and working together as a team despite the age and grade variances.  We also will have great coaches who will take the ownership of either coaching or controlling the game as an official referee.  We guarantee you that you will be pleased at the conclusion of this game as you exit the gym.  We also want our parents, friend and fans of the Southside Titans to come out strong in their Titans gear as well as our official red, white, black, gray and blue team colors so you can support your child and all of our Titans basketball teams.  Below are the photo shoot times for each team.

3rd/4th Grade Team (Coach Summer) @ 7pm

Please note that each team, along with their coaches, secretaries and parents needs to be present in in full uniform or Titans gear at least 30 minutes prior to your official time listed above.  In addition, each team will be sectioned off in the stands with their coaches.  Do not enter the gym floor at any time unless you have been advised by both your head coach and the team photographer.  This is extremely important so that the photo shoot can go through smoothly without interruptions.  We thank each of you for your full support.

The Southside Titans Family has truly grown over the past three to four years.  As a matter of fact, it is just amazing how much we have expanded our teams and sporting events in just the last twelve months!!!  A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of Southside Titans staff members who work tirelessly to make things run smoothly and successfully.  With that being said, we are always in a position to work with companies, churches, small businesses and financially stable contributors who are in the position to sponsor or give a sizeable donation to our Southside Titans.  Your support in giving goes a long ways in helping our children, our teams, and our organization as a whole run even more efficiently without the disappointing burden of children being left out.  We have several sponsor packages available to suit your needs based on your financial donation.  We would love to hear from you.  If interested, please contact our founder.  His information is listed on the "Contacts" page of our website.

WE DO...LITERALLY!!!  Attention all Southside Titans Family Members.  We are looking for the loudest, craziest, outgoing, spontaneous, spirit filled parents, children, friends, and family supporters who are not afraid to make a lot of noise.  With that being said, we are asking that you continue to wear your official Southside Titans gear or your red, white, black and gray team colors and be ready to get loud and have some outrageous fun on the sidelines and in the stands.  We already have the positive reputation of being both a professional and well respected organization.  In addition, we also have the reputation of being one of the most well supported organizations in terms of attendance, support and love for our Southside Titans Family in the community and surrounding areas.  Once again, continue to show your team spirit by bringing your clappers, cow bells, whistles, megaphone loud speakers, sirens and outrageousness to every basketball and tournament this season.  If you are in need of Titans spirit gear, please contact any Southside Titans secretary.  Let's show our opponents and their fans how we're doing things that their teams wish they could.  See you at the games.  GO TITANS!!!

Our summer sports for this season is already in full effect for football.  All this is happening at Schilling Park.  The address is 537 S.E. 25th.  We are about a half mile west of I-35 on S.E. 25th.  The park is between High Blvd and Shield Blvd.  We want to remind everyone to observe the speed limits while traveling to and from our gymnasium facility.  The official speed limit is only 30 mile per hour.  Because of our enormous Southside Titans Family population, we wanted to warn you in advance that the Oklahoma City Police Department patrols our practice field and the surrounding areas on a continuous basis.  In addition, it is important that you park your vehicle either at (1), at the Schilling Park Community Center Gym parking lot (2), at our practice field with the gravel parking lot or (3) at the Schilling Park Water/Spray Park parking lot.  Additional parking is also located at Wheeler Elementary School.  Please note that if your car is parked along S.E 25th street, you will be tagged with a ticket courtesy of Oklahoma City Police Departments finest.  Be safe while traveling Southside Titans Family.  Don't forget, the speed limit is only 30 mile per hour.
